Reagyn Jean Ruiz is a 10year old aspiring Christian cowgirl who lives in Bonham, TX with her Mom, Dad, 2 brothers, Gigi and lots of farm animals. She attends I.W. Evans and is going into 5th grade this year . She’s a member of Cross Trails Cowboy Church where she is active in children’s church, service, play days and church camps to continue her walk with God. Reagyn began riding when she was 4 years old with a horse named Teensy the pony, now she rides Tarzan a 16H Quarter Horse who’s taught her all the gaming events! Tarzan has helped her achieve many dreams and goals in just 2 short years together now winning playdays and jackpots. Reagyn spends most of her free time riding her horse on trails, competing at barrel races and playdays, riding on day long wagon trains or just around the ranch. Other times you’ll find her teaching her dog Ruby new tricks, doing chores around the ranch and hunting with her brother and her Momma on Grandpa Fred’s farm, riding her 4 wheeler in the mud or mastering her skills on the gymnastics mat.  She prays to one day become a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, like her Momma serving children in need, while traveling around the country competing in rodeos along the way. She hopes to represent Blue Ridge Rodeo this coming year as sweetheart, this way she can also help continue a legacy of encouraging young cowgirls to follow their dreams.
